The ambience around Lake Lucerne with the Open-Air Pavilion, the Culture and Convention Center Lucerne and The Club Schweizerhof Hotel is what makes the Lucerne Blue Balls Festival unique. From July 20 – 28, the festival presents a total of 100 music shows, with top-notch international Blues, Jazz, Soul, Rock acts as well as cultural events and art galleries.

Spotlight on for the Locarno Film Festival! The main feature of the festival is the open-air screening space in the awe-inspiring Piazza Grande, with room for over 8,000 spectators, and with one of the largest open air screens in the world. Who will win the famous “Pardo”, the Golden Leopard awarded to the best film in the international competition? From Aug 1 – 11.
